Jess received his Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. He has been working with children and youth in various capacities for the past 10 years including the past 6 at A Child's World. He has significant experience in working with Reactive Attachment Disorder as well as individual and family trauma. in 2011, he and Dr. Art from A Child's World gave a presentation at the national ATTACh conference. Jess is also certified to administer neurofeedback, a very effective treatment for ADHD and anxiety, as well as trained in Christian/Biblical counseling. Jess enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children, and enjoys the mountains of Northern Nevada.
Sharon Willans, LCSW, MFT
Sharon moved to Nevada in 1978 and has been involved in children's mental health, child welfare and health care systems since that time. She received her MSW from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and was accepted for Academy of Certified Social Workers (ACSW). Her specialty areas include child and family, parenting, early childhood, children with attachment and trauma issues, and autism. Sharon has offered professional continuing education classes in Nevada and other states. She currently serves as a co-facilitator for the Parent Support Group offered through A Child's World Therapeutic Services.
